breakfast noise

I was almost ready to write a good review, but then I found the breakfast lacking—just a croissant, no fun eggs or hams. The 'suite' faced a busy street, and oh, the noise! I expected a complimentary gift upon arrival, but clearly, that was too much to ask.

Staying at La Maison du Frêne felt like a home away from home! Guy and Thierry are awesome hosts, dishing out tasty breakfasts and great tips for exploring. The decor is super unique, but be ready for some stairs! Can't recommend it enough!

It was just a great match for a weekend jaunt in Vence with value for money. The hosts went out of their way to provide incredible tips for local attractions and dining options we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The artistic decor had charm, with unique pieces that made the atmosphere special, and the high-quality bed linens made for a comfortable stay. Decent Wi-Fi kept me connected, which is helpful in a serene space like this.

There are no elevators, and those stairs can be a workout, especially if you've got luggage. Breakfast was a bit lacking for a continental spread. Just a croissant and shared baguette, with pre-packed cheese and no fresh juice. The street noise from scooters can interrupt your peace if you open the windows, which is something to consider if you're sensitive to sound.
